Having trouble connecting to ProQuest?

July 27, 2017 by Julie Hoey

ProQuest has recently undergone some changes that might make your web browser do a double-take. Our IT Department is looking at options for a long term solution, but in the meantime it takes just a few mouse clicks to fix. Click ‘Advanced’ (or maybe ‘Proceed’ or something similar), then follow the prompts to quickly and easily add an exception to your browser’s rules. You’ll be back in business in less than a minute, and able to access journal articles and other ProQuest resources.

Library account logins temporarily unavailable

July 11, 2017 by Julie Hoey

We are currently working on upgrading the sign-in page for library accounts, and this has resulted in the login function being temporarily unavailable. This means you can’t sign in to check what you have on loan, renew books, save searches, or place items in your basket.

We have a work around we can apply to your account if you need access.  Please contact the library on 02 4980 2257 or by email librarian@avondale.edu.au to have the work around applied.

The regular sign-in functionality will be restored as soon as possible.

November 16, 2016 by Julie Hoey

You asked, we delivered. The Lake Mac campus library now has a Reading Nook, full of light reading for when you need some downtime. It’s located just outside the main doors of the library, with some cozy chairs to keep you comfortable while you make your selection.  Take a book, read it, then return it so someone else can enjoy it.
