EndNote Version X4 is now available! Upgrade to the latest version from the Library Homepage. No more disks. No more permission forms. Just a couple of clicks and you will have the latest version on your laptop. Your current records will still be there after the upgrade. Click the EndNote button on the Library Hompage and start now!

Training sessions during Winter School:

Monday 1-2pm and 4-5pm
Tuesday 10-11am and 3-4pm (2nd and 3rd weeks only)
Wednesday 3-4pm and 7-8pm
Thursday 9-10am and 2-3pm

These times will be available from 5 July to 22 July. Please meet at the Information Desk in the Library Foyer.

Come at lunchtime 12:00 – 1:00pm any Monday or Wednesday for help with EndNote or searching the Databases. We can give you the extra assistance you may need to help you with your research. No need to make a booking – just meet at the Library Information Desk at 12 noon.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available for Lake Macquarie Campus students in the Dyson-Williams Study Room (on the top floor of the Library) Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Evening sessions also available Monday and Thursday 7:00pm-9:00pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 7:30pm -9:30pm during each semester.

Lobster Shells

Books are like lobstershells – we grow out of our old favourites and graduate to the new as we get older. Avondale College is offering HSC students the opportunity to get a head start on tertiary education by opening their library, with its wealth of resources, to local High Schools.
