A one-day symposium celebrating the launch of Avondale Seminary head Dr Kayle de Waal’s second book, which unfolds the history of salvation through an Old Testament analysis of Revelation.

Featuring: Three keynote sessions and launch of Kayle’s book, Ancient Words, Present Hope.

Morning sessions include reflection and sermon by Kayle and worship by Institute of Worship director Dr Lyell Heise.

Afternoon session includes panel discussion moderated by Signs Publishing book editor Nathan Brown and featuring Drs Ross Cole, Wendy Jackson, David Tasker and Steve Thompson, launch and dedication. Ross is a former senior lecturer in Old Testament at Avondale College of Higher Education. Wendy and David are lecturers in the seminary at Avondale—David is a former chair of the Biblical Research Committee and field secretary for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific. Steve is higher degree research supervisor at Avondale.
