Celebrate the opening of the academic year at Avondale College of Higher Education

Convocation and Commissioning is the official opening of the academic year as Avondale College of Higher Education.

Featuring: President Professor Ray Roennfeldt; Vice-President (Quality and Strategy) Professor Jane Fernandez; Acting Vice-President (Academic and Research) Associate Professor Robert McIver; Vice-President (Finance, Infrastructure and Risk) Kelvin Peuser; and Academic Registrar Dr Gwen Wilkinson.

Also featuring: Miljana Kurtovic (soprano) and Aleta King (piano) and Stephen Aveling Rowe (organ).

Roennfeldt will welcome students, Wilkinson present the commencing class of 2018, Fernandez and Peuser offer prayers and McIver address why Avondale is seeking university college status.
