A live stream performance of storytelling music from Central Coast-based singer/songwriter duo Ali & Leighton to open the 2020 Avondale Concert Series.

Biography

Ali & Leighton is an authentically honest storytelling singer/songwriter duo. The two place Jesus at the heart of their creative projects to encourage love: for God, for each other and for the world around us. They sing and play through the real talk from their 15-years-ago-early-dating years through to the parenting-four-children season. Themes range from marriage, love and the search for peace to finding a voice, embracing this one life and buying supermarket flowers. Ali is the singer/songwriter and arranger while Leighton brings multi-instrumentalism and vocal harmony. Ali & Leighton have recorded two albums, Year of the Home (2009) and The Rhythm of Us (2020).
