Biography

Higgins grew up on a farm in Nowendoc, New South Wales, but began to take songwriting seriously after the Tamworth round of Songwriters @ the Pickin’ Pen in 2014. He released a two-track EP in 2016. It featured the songs “Home for Me” and “Stories of Us,” which helped Higgins make the finals of the Tamworth Songwriters Association awards. He also made the finals of the Australian Songwriters Association awards in 2017. That same year, Higgins graduated from creative industries provider JMC Academy in Melbourne.

Higgins enjoys living a country life surrounded by his horse and tractors on rural properties. He takes pride in turning stories into music that brings smiles to weary travellers.
