Join tenor Blake Parham and pianist Claire Howard Race in a vocal and piano recital that follows the journey of a young opera singer.

Blake (pictured, right) is a multi-award-winning baritone and tenor who is completing doctoral studies at the Sydney Conservatorium. He has performed in concert and stage productions including Opera by Candlelight in Canberra, Carmen and The Pirates of Penzance and presented recitals for the University of St Andrews, Dundee Cathedral and Provence cote D’Azur. He also received a George Boland postgraduate vocal scholarship, joined the 2014 Pacific Opera Young Artist Program and won the vocal category of the 5MBS Young Virtuosi Award (2014).

Claire is a lecturer in the Conservatorium of Music at Avondale College of Higher Education who is also completing doctoral studies at the Sydney Conservatorium. She is pianist for the Sirius Chamber Ensemble and has accompanied the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, The Little Opera Company, The Esterhazy Singers and the Australian Girls’ Choir.
