Donation will help spread the Word

Students from last year’s graduation class at Avondale have donated $780 to an initiative providing Bibles to 200,000 young adults in the South Pacific.

World Changers aims to provide Bibles to 200,000 young adults in the South Pacific.

The donation to the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s World Changers Bible Project came at the right time, says Dr Nick Kross, director of Adventist youth ministries for the church in the South Pacific. “We just ordered another 30,000 [Bibles] and we’re a bit short [of money],” he writes in a message to class treasurer Kyle Morrison. “I stepped out in faith. . . . We send our sincere appreciation for your help.”

Nick launched World Changers in August 2011. The project has raised $679,123 since then.

The Bibles include 13 pages of discipleship training material and come with a set of 29 Bible-study bookmarks, which provide outlines for sharing the church’s fundamental beliefs.
