Having trouble connecting to ProQuest?

ProQuest has recently undergone some changes that might make your web browser do a double-take. Our IT Department is looking at options for a long term solution, but in the meantime it takes just a few mouse clicks to fix.

In Firefox, click the ‘Advanced’ button as seen in the image below. In other browsers, there may be a ‘Proceed’ button, or something similar. Follow the prompts to quickly and easily add an exception to your browser’s rules. You’ll be back in business in less than a minute, and able to access journal articles and other ProQuest resources.

In Chrome, right-click on the ‘Download PDF’ link and choose ‘Open link in new window.’ Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to download PDFs as usual.

If you’re still having trouble, please contact the library – we’ll be happy to help you.
