Helping people experience the fullness of life

Matthew Siliga is a Washington, DC-based administrator of a global development and relief agency. He’s also one of our Master of Business Administration students. We asked him six questions. Here are the answers he gave.

What’s one thing we wouldn’t know about you?
As ADRA International’s Vice-President for Marketing and Development, I’m also responsible for global advocacy, a unit that works with United Nations agencies and other entities to influence government policy.

How do you define success in your occupation?
Making an impact in more communities and in more significant ways. In the area of marketing and development, this means building a stronger brand and establishing more social, corporate and private partnerships.

What are you reading?
Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.

Who’s one of your heroes?
Poet Amanda Gorman. I love her truth and courage.

What about your study motivates you?
I love how practical it is, giving me the opportunity to check in on myself as I reflect on my leadership, key work areas and the wider organisation.
