Jab, lab and rehab: the San at 115

September 25, 2018, 3.30 PM-5.00 PM

Free

A humorous history of Sydney Adventist Hospital

Michael Rigby is librarian on Avondale Libraries’ Sydney campus. He has been on the Sydney Adventist Hospital estate for 23 years and is in his third library building. The San owned and operated the Library until 2009, then donated the resources and staff to Avondale.

A free presentation by Avondale Libraries and Friends of the Library.

Michael will be giving us a potted history of the San including Billy Hughes, General Macarthur, and a reluctant donkey. Sounds fascinating! You will love listening to Michael as he gives us a humourous look at the San in bygone days.

Afternoon tea provided.

Contact him on (02) 9480 3639 if you would like to visit the Merritt Kellogg Museum in Sydney.
