The Lake Macquarie launch of a new album of songs commissioned by, composed for, dedicated to and premiered by The Promise.

The Promise Songbook is a unique collection of musical snapshots. Each song has a personal connection to The Promise. You will hear songs commissioned by, composed for, dedicated to and premiered by the Avondale College of Higher Education vocal ensemble and songs the ensemble just loves to sing. The Promise Songbook is, according to Artistic Director Aleta King, a testament to the musical maturity of the ensemble and its ongoing commitment to musical excellence.

Featuring: premiere performances of “Ego Sum Panis” and “The Promise (How Long, Lord?) Parts I and II;” and acknowledgement of composers, donors and alumni.
