Stories from Sunnyside

The first Seventh-day Adventist missionaries arrived in Australia in 1885. Ellen White arrived six years later. Unsure of her calling, the 64-year-old church pioneer would stay nine not two years and accomplish her most mature and pioneering work.

Stories from Sunnyside: Ellen White in Australia 1891-1900 gives unique insights into Ellen White’s personal ministry in and around Cooranbong, establishing a country home with a large household, supporting new church members and serving people in the community.

Celebrate the launch of this new book by Marian de Berg, who has served for more than 29 years as Administrative Assistant at the Ellen G White/Seventh-day Adventist Research Centre at Avondale College of Higher Education.

Featuring: Ellen G White Estate Associate Director Dwain Esmond, research centre director Dr John Skrzypaszek and Signs Publishing Book Editor Nathan Brown.

Presented by Avondale and Signs.

Light refreshments.

Book available for sale at launch-only price of $20.

Note: If wet weather, venue will be Ella Hughes Chapel on the Lake Macquarie campus of Avondale College of Higher Education.
