  1. I believe we are all bent over with the burden of sin. The Sabbath is a glorious day of rest and redemption. The speaker here has appealed to the hearts of her listeners. Her comments regarding the ordination of women to ministry were not presented in a way that convinced me. Was Paul wrong to state that men, having one wife, and of impeccable character, ruling over his household as priest of the family, were designated to the role of elders in the church? It is a truism that the vacuum created by absent men of character needs to be filled. But disobedience to the Bible principle has seen male headship become a dividing wedge in our churches.
