Undergraduate students at Avondale College of Higher Education have for the first time organised their own academic conference. Critical Issues in the 21st Century, November 11, featured the presentation of 20-minute papers from 15 students. Topics ranged from the impact of values education in Seventh-day Adventist schools to the ecology of sandy shores and Christianity, vampirism and mission.
