More please: Tenor Dell Lawrence and mezzo-soprano Vivienne Calwell’s performance of “The Prayer” earned sustained applause at Hymns and Songs of Praise. The two joined 14 other current and former members of Avondale College of Higher Education vocal ensemble The Promise in their own class reunion, headlining the Homecoming concert. Producer Dy Lyell Heise and his 45-piece Institute of Worship Orchestra moved the audience with grand arrangements and medleys of well-known hymns and songs. The highlights?
