Announcing a Scholarship opportunity for the Year 12 Students
The Challenge: Address this question in no more than 250 words: “How do you describe success?” All submissions must be accompanied by a visual image that illustrates your response.
Open to: Year 12 students at Adventist secondary schools in Australia
Submit to: Submit a word document and image to [email protected]. Your visual image should also be uploaded to the ABS Facebook page.
Dates: August 21st to September 4th at 9:00pm.
Judging Criteria: All entries will be judged on:
- The ability to get a clear, powerful message across via written word
- Creativity & originality of the written & visual element
Judging Panel: The ABS academic staff, chaired by the Head of School (if needed, dispute resolution will be dealt with by the Faculty Dean at their absolute discretion).
Announcement of Winner: Winners will be officially and individually notified by e-mail from The Avondale Business School Head of School in conjunction with the secretary of the Scholarships Committee on Monday, September 16. These letters will clearly state the conditions under which the award is being made. Collective results to be posted on the ABS Facebook page on Monday, September 17.
Prizes:
Overall Winner: $400 cash, plus $2,000 scholarship to Avondale Business School.
Honourable Mention: Five individual awards of $200 cash.
