You do not have to be a hero to live a Christian life; all you need is Christ. The drama team humorously illustrated this simple message during Festival of Faith this past week. Leah Stewart’s little girl dreamt of Superman and Princess Leia. Speaker Matthew Gamble used the book of Philippians to show how we are beautiful people in Christ. Daniel Ratcliffe listens. He scored a rare seat in Avondale College Seventh-day Adventist Church—chaplain Dr Wayne French and his team removed most of the pews to create a relaxed communal feel. Festival of Faith “highlighted again the importance of grace,” says Wayne. “The argument against it is always, ‘You can’t just have it for free.’ Well, you can.
