Helps produce action plan with colleagues at summit

The director of our Christian Education Research Centre, Dr Peter Williams, has connected with colleagues at the Australian Education Research Leaders’ Summit.

This summit featured short presentations by Professors Allyson Holbrook, Michelle Simons, Catherine Manathunga, Jenny Gore and Marnie Hughes-Warrington.

The leaders discussed issues such as challenges and opportunities in educational research, lifting the profile of educational research, principles for collaboration, and succession planning and the development of future educational research leaders. They also reached consensus for an action plan.

The Australian Association for Research in Education and the Community of Associate Deans Research in Education hosted the summit at the University of South Australia.
