Forever: An Easter Story

World premiere! From the people who brought The Sound of Music and The Story to Lake Macquarie comes a musical experience telling a revolutionary story of love, compassion and mercy.

Yosef of Arimathea is a Pharisee steeped in the legalistic faith of the Sanhedrin. Mary Magdalene is a healed and devoted follower of the charismatic Jesus of Nazareth. Amidst a first-century crowd, Yosef begins to shed the confines of rigid tradition when he sees the transformation of Mary’s life.

Weaving powerful lyrics from popular worship songs with an original script by alumna Sarah Morton, Forever: An Easter Story gives voice to Bible characters grappling with their humanity and the transformative power of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.
