You are invited to attend the exhibition opening of ‘Thou ART Free’ at the Joanne Felk Gallery, Avondale College of Higher Education Lake Macquarie Campus.

The exhibitors are ladies from Avondale’s Visual Arts program, and have prepared a selection of beautiful and inspiring art works for your enjoyment.

The exhibition will also be available to view for several weeks afterwards on weekdays during Avondale’s opening hours.

“My name is Birgitte, working with coffee and acrylic I endeavour to express my awe and gratitude to God who established all creation and made humans with the wonderful gift of creativity. The autonomy and ability to create and reflect on our own existence within the knowledge of our loving origin is here expressed.”

“My name is Sheldon Lindsay, and I am an artist based in Newcastle. My work comprises a collection of mixed media and bright cubist oil paintings. As an artist my aim is to create pieces, which inspire others and create an atmosphere. My art processes involves a freedom of expression in which my world comes alive in the paint on canvas.”
