YOUR MORNING, AFTERNOON AND EVENING PLANS IN HAWAII

Friday, August 2, 2019

Hawaii, a U.S. state, is an isolated volcanic archipelago in the Central Pacific. When travelling to this state, you’ll be highly impressed by its islands which are renowned for their rugged landscapes of cliffs, waterfalls, tropical foliage and beaches with gold, red, black and even green sands. Of the 6 main islands, Oahu has Hawaii’s biggest city and capital, Honolulu, home to crescent Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor’s WWII memorials. To experience a great day when travelling to Hawaii, whether your intentions are to have a relaxed holiday or really want to get captivated by the Hawaiian culture, here’s what you must do. We have your itinerary sorted!

Morning

Fancy a little shopping? Head to Waikele Premium Outlets or Ala Moana Center for the best opportunity to get discounts on our favourite stores including Guess, Nine West, Vans, Converse, Levi’s, Fragrance Warehouse, Sketchers and so much more. Getting to these stores is easy, you can either catch a bus or hire transport for the day, which will take you straight to the venue and you can spend as much time as you want there.

I am telling you, the discounts are great, so bring your wallets fellow shoppers!

Noon

Snorkelling in Hanauma Bay: If you are interested in exploring the fish, turtles and coral up close and personal, this is the perfect activity for you and your family or friends! I have had my own experience with turtles and fish, I even got told that they are so used to people that they don’t swim away when you get near.

Because it is so busy here, there is a lot of infrastructure involved. There is a separate fee for parking for longer than 15 minutes. If you are driving your own vehicle plan on coming early, because the parking fills up and you could be turned away. We also got the opportunity to watch an educational movie about Hanauma Bay and the sea life species we might see.

No need to worry about bringing your own gear on the plane or cruise, you are welcome to hire snorkel equipment on site for a small fee!

Evening

Sheraton Kauai Resort’s ‘Auli’i Luau: To end your eventful day in the beautiful warm weather, you must check out this Luau which is on the sands of the crescent- shaped Poipu Beach and is Kauai’s only oceanfront luau.

Visitors can connect with Kauai’s rich history and culture, traditional culinary eats, and tropical treats with the blue Pacific Ocean and bright-orange sunset as a stunning backdrop. Tables are organised through bookings or walkthroughs and you will get the opportunity to interact with the locals, as well as your fellow tourists,

Urahutia Productions’ talented dancers and musicians take guests on a journey through Polynesia from Hawaii to New Zealand,

Are you worried about what you are going to eat? Don’t be worried, this Luau is complemented by the resort’s culinary offerings of traditional Hawaiian-rooted cuisine. I can tell you first hand that it is delicious.
